What did it do?

He created numerous inventions such as practical electricity, the lightbulb, phonograph, the motion picture camera and much more. By the time of his death he had 1,093 patents under his name.


He is one of the most important inventors of the 1900s. He is often considered to be one of the most prolific inventors in history. His inventions allowed a new standard of living among the middle class.
